F1 2009 Game App Reviews

A incredibly great game, of course multiplayer would of been awesome and car damage on new generation devices.

Especially when it comes to the steering input. Way to twitchy even at the lowest setting! Also the the viewing angle needs to be raised slightly.

Not bad for a start. Good number of tracks and details. The colored racing line is nice. No racing against other cars??!! Am I missing something? Steering is a bit hard to control. Cant turn off game music. Audio in general seems to be a little out of control.

Please put left/right buttons by touchscreen. It make game ability much better.

just make better framerate and do something with appear too close landscape (RR can , so you can too) try people use trick with FOG ... (ecco from dreamcast without fog looks like yours F1...) do better system stering - few options i mean - sensitive option too. Give us more customise options . Give us metalic shiny on sun bolid and ghost cars others players ...and real MULTIPLAYER with at least 3 others players... At now price should be 2$ no more . Not good quality (compare with Real racing)

Great game. Just needs an update on the control system. More options or atleast more precise accelerometer controls.

Its great that they included all the drivers (albeit dated ones like Piquet Jr.) and the tracks, but the games lacks in the controls department. Even at the least sensitive setting the tilt controls are a bit of a mess, good luck lapping Hungary without crashing violently into the wall. They should include a digital stick and a d-pad like many other racing games do (Rally Master, Driver, etc.). Overall, great promise and start but needs more options for control.

The game has potential but the controls needs some work. The BMW F1 game has better controls.

It need an urgent update. It should have races and even multiplayer racing. And as said the control are crappy

7$ is a lot for an app lower the price good game but a sensitife controls needs an update

This game is awesome, but it needs some tweeks. There should be races, multiplayer and also pit stops. Otherwise, great graphics, realistic steering, and amazing authentic tracks.

Love F1 and this is the only game on here that has all the tracks/cars/drivers from the beginning of the 09 season. Like others have said controls could be better, same with the lack of actual races. Just time trials.....really? Add races and clean up the controls/graphics and it would amazing!! Great start!

there is no app or game or an xbox game that is better than this. U MUST GET THIS GAME! if u have steady hands the sensitivity wont be such a problem.

I am a huge F1 fan and this game is just great!! I love the time trial aspect that posts times to a global leaderboard. This game is really good, but needs some big improvements to really be a perfect game. - Fix the system crashing. I cant even press pause without the game crashing. It also crashes in the main screen and sometimes during a race. - Allow less sensitivity. Even the lowest setting is still too sensitive. - Touch up some of the graphics. Its good, but it could be better. Thats all I can think of for now. Lets see some updates!!

Awesome game, by far my favorite. Thank you Codemasters!!! I love the time trial aspect of the game. Multiplayer would be nice but I really like comparing lap times from people from all over the world. Im a huge Formula one fan so its great to be able to race at all the newest F1 tracks. The visuals are awesome on the 3Gs phone and the controls are as good as they can get on the Iphone, it just takes a bit to practice and to set up the controls the way you like them. I also like the fact that you can be much faster without the driving aids. Great game! Looking forward to the ps3 or xbox version. Thanks again Codemasters, this is the game I was waiting for. No, I dont work for Codemasters.
